OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to provide the students with the knowledge of functions, operations and fault information of gas turbine motors and control of systems.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the basic concepts and principles of gas turbine motors, air systems, power boosting systems, fire protection systems, motor monitoring and ground operation.

Define basic concepts of gas turbine motors
Explain functions of gas turbine motor parts.
Explain the operation of gas turbine motor systems.
Analyze the faults in the gas turbine motor systems.
Integrate the assembly and disassembly procedures of gas turbine motor parts.
