OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: To enable students to critically examine media messages. To develop an awareness of the language, production processes, and ideological and cultural orientations of media. To develop the ability to analyze the differences between traditional and digital media, power relations, and manipulation techniques. To raise awareness of information pollution, disinformation, and perception management. To equip participants with the habit of developing a selective, conscious, and responsible approach when consuming media content.
Contents of the Course Unit: Course content was created to enable students to learn and question the concept of media literacy.

Learns the concept of media literacy
Becomes a conscious user in perceiving and managing media messages
Becomes conscious of producing and managing media content and perceiving the sub-message.
