The aim of this course is to equip students with the knowledge and awareness to understand the contribution of children's literature to a child's cognitive, linguistic, socio-emotional, and aesthetic development, and to evaluate children's literature products and media content from developmental, educational, and ethical perspectives. |

This course covers the definition of children's literature, its genres and contributions to developmental areas, the characteristics of children's books, storytelling techniques, the effects of digital and visual media on children, the role of family and teachers, and the relationship between children, media, and children's rights. |
