The aim of this course is to enable students to plan effective family education practices that support child development by gaining knowledge and skills in the concepts of family, types of families, parenting attitudes, the attachment process, family education programs, family involvement, communication studies, working with families in special circumstances, and ethical principles. |

This course covers the concept of family and family types, parenting attitudes and the family development cycle, the family-child bonding process, the purpose and ethical principles of family education, family education programs, family participation, communication activities, home visits and individual interviews, father involvement, family education for children with special needs, and working with families in special circumstances. |
