| Objectives: | The aim of the course is to provide students with the ability to establish and design the physical facilities of the workplace and factory systems in which they will work after graduation, to use facility planning models and techniques to analyze the current layout of the facilities, to make analysis and to evaluate the results obtained. |
| Content: | Establishment Studies, Material Movement Function, Material Movement Costs, Facility Planning Process and Information Collection, Problem Analysis: Material Flow and Activity Relationship Analysis, Determination of Space Requirements; Searching for Options, Comparison, Selection and Application; Holistic Layout Models and Techniques Based on the Sovereign Product, Graphical and Mathematical Models and Techniques Based on All Products, Intuitive Models and Techniques with Computer Solutions. |
