AMAÇ VE İÇERİK
Amaç: It is aimed to integrate the building subsystems by considering the design process in the context of function-technology-structure-form and material.The aim of this course is; • Development of sub-systems in accordance with building function, code, regulation and standards • Integrating of different sub-systems, each other • Creating a sets of construction drawings for pre-designed building project
İçerik: Space organization, structural system selection, building element design, material selection and service systems will be discussed. Preliminary design process of an existing project is analyzed and synthesized through the environmental context, architectural program; codes, standards and regulations. Design overview of the preliminary project; selecting appropriate sub-systems, materials are part of the activities. The course is organized around giving information about construction projects. During the term, the importance, the determination and the evaluation of construction projects with the guides of principal decisions on constructional design are explained.
