Amaç: | The aim of this course is to explain the basic concepts of restorative dental treatment and the histology of the hard tissues of the tooth, and to explain all treatment approaches to compensate for the hard tissue losses in the tooth caused by caries or non-carious reasons. In addition, all this information given in the theoretical part of the Restorative Dental Treatment (DHF213) Theoretical I course is explained in a preclinical environment and the student is prepared for clinical applications by doing practical applications. |
İçerik: | Bu dersin içeriği; mine-dentin-sement histolojisi, çürük tanımı, etyolojisi, mikrobiyolojisi ve histopatolojisi, tedavide kullanılan aletler, kavite açma prensipleri, simanlar, amalgam, adeziv diş hekimliği, mine ve dentine adezyon, kompozit reçineler, polimerizasyon büzülmesi, tabakalama teknikleri, bitirme, polisaj ve cila. Ayrıca bu dersin içeriği; hazırlanmış sabun modeller üzerinde teorisi anlatılmış olan tüm kavite preparasyonlarının uygulamalı olarak yapılması, daha sonra aynı uygulamaların akrilik çene ve plastik dişler üzerinde tekrarlanması, sonrasında çekilmiş insan dişleri üzerinde kavite açma kurallarına bağlı kalarak uygulamalar yapılması, siman yerleştirme, amalgam uygulanması, kompozit restorasyon uygulamaları ve son olarak bahsedilen tüm bu uygulamaları fantom diş laboratuarında tekrar edilmesi. |

1. Recognizes all hard tissues of the tooth and explains their histology. 2. Defines caries, explains its etiology, microbiology and histopathology. 3. Lists the instruments and devices used in restorative dental treatment. 4. Explains the principles of cavity opening. 5. Lists current cements. 6. Explains all physical and chemical properties of amalgam and its application. 7. Explains adhesive dentistry. 8. Explains adhesion to enamel and dentin with all its mechanisms. 9. Explains composite resins at an introductory level. 10. Explains polymerization shrinkage and lists all approaches related to its prevention. 11. Explains finishing, polishing and polishing processes. Applies all cavity preparations known in theory on prepared soap models. 12. Applies all cavity preparations known in theory on acrylic jaws and plastic teeth. 13. Applies all cavity preparations known in theory on extracted human teeth. 14. Successfully performs all current cement applications to cavities that have been prepared. 15. Successfully performs amalgam preparation, placement in the cavity, condensation, modeling and polishing processes. 16. Successfully performs composite resin applications to all types of cavities. 17. Successfully applies all the knowledge, skills and experiences gained through practical applications in the Fantom laboratory in a way closest to the real thing. |
