AMAÇ VE İÇERİK

Amaç: This course aims to provide flight safety and security and its sustainable development, to have an overall knowledge regarding the legislation in order that the aviation activities may be performed within international rules and standards.
İçerik: Contents of the course include the subjects such as International Aviation Authorities and Organisations, Structure and Functioning of ICAO, ICAO Annex Documents, Federal Aviation Authority (FAA), European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), International Air Transport Association (IATA), European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC), Airport Council International (ACI).

Define the basic concepts of Aviation Rules and Legislation.
List the basic similarities and differences between different countries' aviation rules.
Interpret the contracts related to the air law with a critical perspective.
Explain passenger rights, transporter and operator responsibilities.
Summarize the structure of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
Distinguish ICAO, JAA, EASA and FAA from each other.
Contact a link between international rules (JAR) and national rules
