AMAÇ VE İÇERİK

Amaç: This course will inquire into the political, economic, social, and cultural development of the world civilizations with particular focus on the ancient times and middle ages.
İçerik: The development of ancient civilizations from the Agricultural Revolution to the Roman Empire.

1. Compares and contrast Mesopotamian, Egyptian, Persian, Minoan and Mycenean, Hebrew, Greek and Hellenistic Civilisations.
2. Evaluate differences between various civilisations’ political structures, religions, artistic production, daily life patterns etc.
3. Evaluate and interpret about advantageous and disadvantageous sides of different civilisations.
