AMAÇ VE İÇERİK

Amaç: This course aims to provide the students with an introduction to stratification and mobility by supporting their sociological perspective on stratification with theories; to prepare a theoretical basis for future studies in the field of sociology.
İçerik: Contents of the course include; classical and contemporary stratification and inequality theories of sociology, social classes, social mobility, gender, race and ethnicity, globalization and inequality and deprivation.
