AMAÇ VE İÇERİK

Amaç: The objective of the course is to provide students the knowledge and skills to practice the tests used to determine the talent selection, to evaluate the results of the data obtained from the tests, and to select talents to direct individuals to appropriate sports branches.
İçerik: Contents of the course include; general concepts related with talent selection, talent selection principles, talent types, characteristics of talented athletes, prerequisites for talent selection, talent selection and principles in sport games, talent selection methods and tests used in talent selection.

Describes the principles of talent selection in sports.
Explain the characteristics of talented athletes.
Apply tests that are used to determine talent in individual and team sports.
Examine data obtained from tests used in the selection of talent in individual and team sports and evaluate the results.
Taking into account the structural and psycho-social characteristics, make the selection of talent to direct children and young people to appropriate sports branches.
