AMAÇ VE İÇERİK
Amaç:	To provide students with knowledge about warehouse and inventory concepts, which have an important place in logistics activities.
İçerik:	Introduction to Warehousing and Inventory Management and Basic Concepts, Warehouse Types and Classifications, Role and Importance of Warehouse in Organization, Warehouse Equipment and Tools, Layout Planning in Warehouses, Analysis of Differences According to Purpose and Process, Introduction to Inventory Management, Inventory Control Methods, Internal Problems in Inventory Management, Order Management: Calculating Order Size and Frequency, Cost Elements Affected by Inventory Control, Information Technologies in Warehouse Management, Warehousing in International Trade.

Can list the reasons for holding inventory in enterprises.
Has learned and understood the importance of demand forecasts and demand forecast methods.
Understands the recording and coding of stocks.
Can recognize stock control methods.
Can calculate the safety stock level.
Learns the use of computers in stock control.
Learns the nature of in-house thefts.
Learns the lot size methods in orders and the differences between them.
Understands what kind of costs stock items create for enterprises.
Learns the cost elements affected by inventory control.
Learns what information and analysis are required for the best design of warehouses.
