AMAÇ VE İÇERİK
Amaç:	It is aimed to gain knowledge and attitudes that will understand, analyze and develop the process from recent history to the present in the development of social policies and social assistance models that will enable children to grow up as healthy individuals.
İçerik:	Concept, Purpose and ideologies of Social Welfare, social Policy ; Tools of Social Policy: Social welfare and Social Work Social Policy and Social Welfare, Beneficiaries and target group of social policy; models and changing approaches in welfare systems; Importance of Social welfare policies for Women, children and other vulnerable groups, Child rights and protective mechanisms. Social Welfare policies for children: National and International; Initiatives of GO’s and NGO’s for the welfare of Children. Supporting Parents Current Family services and Counselling ; Problems and Solution Suggestion for Social welfare policies

Identifies children in need of social assistance and support.
Explains children in need of social assistance and support.
Adapts social policies to the counseling follow-up process in child development profession.
Longitudinally comperase the point of view of the welfare states from the past to the children, women and families and compares them with the current services.
Predicts to its role in the organization and distribution of social policy and assistance.
Evaluates social policies for children and families in the world and in our country.
Relates child labor and employment policies that affect women's well-being to child well-being.
Predicts social assistance and policies to support parents and family structure from a child development perspective.
