AMAÇ VE İÇERİK

Amaç: The aim of this course is; It is aimed to learn the physical properties of heat, light and water, their physiological effects, the use of superficial temperature and hydrotherapy modalities in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation, and to gain knowledge and skills regarding application experience.
İçerik: Physical properties of heat and light, physiological effects of superficial heat and hydrotherapy applications, effects of these modalities on pain and inflammation mechanisms, indications and contraindications, superficial heat and hydrotherapy application methods in physiotherapy and rehabilitation.

DERSİN ÖĞRENME ÇIKTILARI (Öğrenciler, bu dersi başarı ile tamamladıklarında aşağıda belirtilen bilgi, beceri ve/veya yetkinlikleri gösterirler.)

Can establish a relationship between superficial temperature and hydrotherapy modalities and physiological effects, application method, indications and contraindications.
Can demonstrate the ability to plan and apply superficial heat agents within the physiotherapy and rehabilitation program.
Can relate theoretical principles regarding the properties of light and water to the applications of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Science.
Can take necessary precautions when encountering unforeseen problems during heat, light and hydrotherapy applications.
Can adjust the program if necessary when encountering unforeseen problems during heat, light and hydrotherapy applications.
Can explain the effects of superficial heat and hydrotherapy applications on inflammation and pain.
