OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to provide the students with fabric manipulations and different perspective on designs in mini collection procedures with experimental methods, besides basic needlework skills. Students will be able to survey experimental designs with his/her needlework abilities and to have a full command of basic concepts and procedure of preparing a collection.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include machine utilization, surveying of basic needlework, alternative applications, preparing mini collection and sewing of collection piece components.

Use basic needlework techniques.
Describe basic knowledge and concepts of collection preparation procedures.
Relate the practical knowledge they procured from needlework to create experimental collections.
Produce components of experimental clothes with alternative applications.
