OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Bu dersle öğrencilerin giysinin karakteristik özelliklerinin tarihsel süreç içerisindeki değişiminin kavranması amaçlanmaktadır. Öğrenci tarihsel süreçte giysi sınıflandırması yapabilir. Bu dersin sonunda öğrencilerin giysi evrimi hakkında aldığı kavramsal bilgiyi pratiğe dökerek projelerinde uygulamaya geçirmesi hedeflenmiştir.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Bu dersin içeriğinde; pre-historik dönemden 1800 yılları aralığında kostümün tarihsel gelişimi, değişimi; 19.YY’dan günümüze modanın tarihsel sürecini, etkilendiği olayları ve bu olayların kıyafetlere yansımalarını kapsamaktadır.

Moda ve Kostüm Tarihi konusunda temel bilgi ve kavramları tanımlar.

Tarihsel bilgi birikimini kullanarak projelerde uygular.
Aldığı tarihsel bilgi sayesinde farklı kültürlere ait giysi, dokuma, tekstil, baskı ve desen tasarımları üretir.
