OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The purpose of hemodialysis is to provide pre-operative preparation, information about potential clinical conditions during the procedure and to learn medical intervention methods, to terminate the dialysis procedure, to administer and record medical treatments related to dialysis, and to ensure that laboratory tests related to the dialysis procedure are properly taken, calculations are performed and recorded.
Contents of the Course Unit: Anemia in Dialysis – Case Presentation Hepatitis and Hemodialysis – Case Presentation Recirculation – Case Presentation Airway Patency Procedure – Airway – Aspiration – Ambu Anticoagulation in Dialysis Patients – Heparin-Free Dialysis Renal Steodystrophy Laboratory Findings and Medications Used in Dialysis Patients ECG – Monitoring Applications in Defibrillator Dialysis in Pregnant Women – Case Study Midterm Exam Chronic Renal Failure and Dialysis in Elderly Patients Common Problems in Hemodialysis Patients CPR – Case Study
