Objectives of the Course Unit: Psikolojiye giriş dersi; insan davranışlarını bilimsel bir yöntemle anlamayı amaçlamaktadır.
Contents of the Course Unit: Psikolojinin Tanımı ve Kapsamı, Psikoloji Yaklaşımları, Psikolojide Araştırma Yöntemleri, Psikolojinin Alanları, Duyum ve Algı,Bellek,Öğrenme, Bilinç, Kişilik,Kişilik Kuramları, Stres ve Sağlık Psikolojisi vb. konuları içermektedir.

Gelişim psikolojisinin amaç ve prensiplerini bilir. doğum öncesinden başlayarak, doğum, bebeklik, çocukluk, ergenlik, yetişkinlik ve ölümü kapsayan tüm insan gelişim evrelerini fiziksel, duyusal, bilişsel, psikososyal ve ahlaki açıdan inceler ve açıklayabilir.
Gelişim teorilerini açıklayabilir.
Doğum öncesinden başlayarak, doğum, bebeklik, çocukluk, ergenlik, yetişkinlik ve ölümü kapsayan tüm insan gelişim evrelerini fiziksel, duyusal, bilişsel, psikososyal ve ahlaki açıdan inceler ve açıklayabilir.
