OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Sık görülen üst ekstremite patolojilerinde kullanılan ortez yaklaşımlarına ilişkin temel prensipleri öğretmek, ortezlerin ölçü, yapım ve uygulama aşamalarını gerçekleştirmelerini sağlamak, üretim, hastaya uygulama ve kullanım sırasında oluşabilecek sorunların çözümlenmesine yönelik beceriler kazandırmak amaçlanmaktadır.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Üst ekstremitenin temel anotomik ve biyomekanik dizilimi hakkındaki temel bilgiler, yaygın görülen patolojiler, ortez kullanımını gerektiren sorunların ortaya konması ve bu sorunların giderilmesine yönelik olarak kullanılan ortezlerin temel prensipleri, üretim aşamaları, hastaya uygulanması, kullanıma özgü bilgiler, modifikasyon, adaptasyon ve onarım konularındaki teorik ve uygulamalar.
