OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Ortopedik protez ve ortez mesleğinde kullanılan makine, el aletleri ve malzemeler konusunda temel bilgi kazandırmak, makine ve el aletlerini tekniğine uygun kullanabilme konusunda bilgi ve beceri kazandırmak amaçlanır.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Ortopedik protez ve ortez atölyesi bünyesindeki makine ve el aletlerini iş güvenliği kurallarına uygun bir şekilde kullanır. Atölye bünyesinde kullanılan el aletleri ile kesme, bükme, şekil verme ve diş açma uygulamalarını yapar.

Ortopedik protez ve ortez üretim atölyesinde iş güvenliği ve işçi sağlığı kurallarını uygular, makine ve el aletlerini talimatlara uygun kullanır. İş parçasına ve malzemeye göre ölçme, kontrol, markalama, kesme ve şekil verme aletlerini seçer ve kullanır. Kullandığı el aletlerinin bakım ve temizliğini yapar. İş parçasına eğeleyerek, döverek ve bükerek şekil verir. İş parçalarını; vida ve somun, perçin, pim ve kaynakla birleştirir. Yanlış birleştirilmiş perçin ve pimleri söker.
