OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of this course is to produce policy and market solutions suitable for common problems.
Contents of the Course Unit: Determination of the role of politics in the science of economics. The explanation of the problems which exist because of the intersection of the fields of politics and economics. The provision of political solution recommendations. Analysis of the impacts of economic crises on political economics. The definition of the roles of firms, households and government in the political economics. The explanation of the impacts of monetary and fiscal policies on the political economics. The explanation of economic theories and political conjoncture theory in the historical process. The determination of the place of political economics in Türkiye.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

To be able to explain the roles of politics and political economics in general economics.
To be able to produce political and market solutions to the economic problems.
To be able to determine the roles of households, firms and governments in political economics.
To be able to analyse the implemented monetary and fiscal policies.
