OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to analyze the international, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations in a historical perspective; to evaluate the global and regional organizations based on their vision, mission, structure and functioning; and to make comparative analysis of different organizations.
Contents of the Course Unit: The contents of this course include the history of international, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations; global and regional organizations, the League of Nations, the UN, EU, NATO, Shangi Cooperation, ASEAN etc.

Analyzing the history of international organizations
Defining and comparing the intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations
Understanding the functioning of international organizations within the framework of globalization and regionalization
Comparative analysis of different organizations based on their visions, missions, instiutional structures and performances.
