OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |
Objectives of the Course Unit: |
To teach students the basic principles that will enable them to conduct academic research in their fields in accordance with international scientific standards.
To ensure that students can choose the right data collection and analysis methods in accordance with the research topic.
To ensure that students have the ability and competence to conduct research by using scientific research methods and observing ethical values.
To provide students with the ability to write scientific articles and dissertations. |
Contents of the Course Unit: |
The basic concepts of philosophy of science and methodology are investigated, data types are compared from various angles, data collection and analysis methods are exemplified.
It ensures that the skills of using academic resources effectively and transferring research results correctly are acquired.
The focus is on the relationship between science, theory and research, and how the processes related to the design and implementation of scientific research are carried out.
Scientific article and thesis writing and ethical rules to be followed during this time are discussed. |

The student knows the research methods and the basic principles of scientific research. |
