OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: With this lesson; It is aimed for students to obtain detailed information about consultancy and support services in language and speech therapy.
Contents of the Course Unit: This lesson; Definition and scope of consultancy and support services; counseling for families and teachers of people with communication problems: effective counseling skills and counseling approaches in counseling services in family education, language and speech therapy; It includes topics such as discussion of solution suggestions for problems frequently encountered in the counseling process, listening, empathy, summarization, challenging and resistant cases, and the differentiating features of counseling services for developmental and acquired language and speech disorders.

Practice effective counseling techniques to obtain information.
