OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: To have information and application skills related to improvement and protection of health, early diagnosis and treatment of diseases, training the patient and the family, and rehabilitation.
Contents of the Course Unit: Information related to improving the adult health, preventing acute and cronic health problems in adults, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Define the fundamental concepts and principles related to internal diseases.
Evaluate the patient as a whole in terms of biological, psychological and social aspects.
Describe the risk factors of all diseases related to all the systems of internal diseases.
Take responsibility in prevention, diagnosis and treatment process of diseases in the systems.
Distinguish between the symptoms of diseases.
Guide the individual/family who needs rehabilitation.
Apply nursing procedures and practices.
Apply training skills to improve health behavior of individual-family and the society.
