OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to gain knowledge and skills related to family welfare area which are important working areas of social work.
Contents of the Course Unit: Basic concepts about family, the role and function of the family, family types, family communication and relationships, effects of parenting attitudes to the child, family problems, family welfare social work intervention and its stages, problem solving process and professional principles, techniques and methods to be used in this process.
