OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to gain knowledge about social work ethics, universal ethical codes of the social work profession and ethical rules related to the profession.
Contents of the Course Unit: Values and ethics in humanitarian work, philosophical foundations of social work ethics, social work ethics, Kant's Ethics in social work, human rights and social work ethics, ethical principles of social work profession, ethical values of social work profession, ethical decision making process in social work practices ethical dilemmas.

Explains the philosophical foundations of social work ethics.
Links the ethical principles and values of the social work profession.
Illustrates the ethical decision making process in social work practices.
