| Objectives of the Course Unit: | Within the framework of the New Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102, commercial transactions, commercial enterprises, the obligations of merchants, unfair competition, and deceptive advertising are explained in basic terms to enable students to understand the relationships between merchants, grasp the legal differences between “commercial enterprises, tradesmen, and companies” that are common in everyday life, and provide basic solutions to situations they encounter in commercial law. and to enable them to assess the competition between businesses or partnerships operating under free market conditions from a legal perspective. |
| Contents of the Course Unit: | Conceptual analysis related to commercial law, the concept of business, its types, “Commercial enterprise” as a type of enterprise, its definition and elements, transfer of a commercial enterprise and pledge of a commercial enterprise, the concept of commercial enterprise, applicable provisions and order of application of commercial provisions, current account agreement, its operation, provisions, termination, commercial lawsuits --Absolute commercial lawsuits --Relative commercial lawsuits, Merchant status, Obligations arising from being a merchant, Commercial books and the scope of the merchant's bookkeeping obligation, Merchant Assistants, Types of trade names and trademarks, Cases of unfair competition and legal actions that may be brought for this reason, Company Law, Bills of exchange and cases of transfer. |
