OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |

Objectives of the Course Unit: | This course aims to give the students information about the basic concepts of mathematics and to teach the importance of mathematics and the concept of analytical thinking. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Contents of the course include set of natural numbers, set of integers, set of rational numbers, set of real numbers and its features, Second order equations and inequalities, analytical study of line, analytical examination of the circle and related applications, function concept, polynomials, rational functions, trigonometric functions, hyperbolic functions, exponential and logarithmic functions and elemental functions consisting of their inverse, graphs of functions, inductive principal, features of summation and multiplication symbols, basic concepts of progression and series, complex numbers and their features. |
