OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of the course is to introduce students, theoretically and practically, from the history of graphic design, which is the art of visual communication, to the present. To transfer current and technological knowledge in the sector by making applications of graphic design products in vector and pixel-based programs from sketch to design and printing stage.
Contents of the Course Unit: This course covers the basic steps of the design processes of graphic design products, and their practical processing using current devices and methods. Project studies and the creation of practical knowledge that students receive in the course through software in the laboratory environment are the concrete outputs of the course.
