OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to introduce the basic concepts of mathematics and the importance of mathematics and the concept of analytical thinking.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include set of natural numbers, set of integers, set of rational numbers, set of real numbers, and their properties. Second order equations and inequalities, analytical study of line, analytical examination of the circle and related applications, function concept, polynomials, rational functions, trigonometric functions, hyperbolic functions, exponential and logarithmic functions and elemental functions consisting of their inverse, graphs of functions. Induction principle, addition and multiplication symbol features, basic concepts related to sequences and series, complex numbers and features.
