OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: To enable students to identify and formulate engineering problems in the field of aircraft maintenance and repair, and to develop solutions using scientific and technical methods; by designing a system, process, or component, students enhance their applied engineering competencies.
Contents of the Course Unit: The project covers the design, analysis, or improvement of a system, process, or component within the field of aircraft maintenance and repair. The course encompasses the entire process from project selection to completion and presentation. Throughout this process, students apply the theoretical knowledge and practical skills they have acquired during their education to real engineering problems.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Define the project topic and formulate it as an appropriate engineering problem.
Conduct a literature review for the project topic and analyze relevant information.
Organize project groups and assign responsibilities effectively.
Evaluate and interpret the feasibility of the selected project topic.
Determine and scientifically/technically assess the methods to be used in the project.
Initiate project work and report progress through interim presentations.
