Objectives of the Course Unit: | To examine tourism with a social perspective, to understand the socio-cultural effects of tourism and to learn the characteristics of tourists with different social characteristics |
Contents of the Course Unit: | This course includes : Basic concepts related to sociology, tourism sociology, tourist types, touristic features, tourist characteristics, economic, physical and socio-cultural effects of tourism, relations and interaction between tourist and local public, sustainability in tourism, global ethics and tourism ethics |
