OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	The objective of this course is to show the place of the classical Turkish literature in the history of literature, to comprehend the relationship between the cultural literary products, to gain the necessary knowledge and skills to recognize and understand the texts of the classical Turkish literature.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Contents of the course include; Pre-Islamic Turkish language and literature, The historical development of Classical Turkish literature, the first literary works of the Turks after the acceptance of Islam, classical Turkish literature works in 13th and 14th centuries and literary understanding of important figures who lived in these centuries.

Starting from the Classical Turkish literature in 13th century, list the important figures until 15th century.
Express the understanding of literature in 13th, 14th and 15th centuries with his/her own words.
Question the development of Classical Turkish Literature in 13th, 14th and 15th centuries and the changes it passed through.
Compare the literary understandings of important figures in 13th, 14th and 15th centuries.
Analyze the Classical Turkish Literature texts between 13th and 15th centuries.
