OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Bu dersin amacı öğrenciye mitolojiye ilişkin kavramsal bir bakış açısı kazandırmak, destan ve efsane kavramlarının birbirlerine benzeyen ve birbirinden ayrılan yönlerini kavratmaktır. Bu edebi türlerin örneklerinden hareketle öğrenciye uygulamalı inceleme yaptırmaktır. Dersin sonunda öğrenciden mitoloji, destan ve efsane türleri arasındaki ilişkiyi kavraması hedeflenmektedir.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Mit ve mitoloji kavramı, Türk mitolojisi, destanın ortaya çıkışı, destan kavramı, İslamiyet öncesi Türk destanları, İslami dönem Türk destanları, destanların diğer edebi türlerle ilişkisi, efsane kavramı, efsanenin tanımı, efsanelerin kaynakları ve özellikleri, efsanenin diğer edebi türlerle ilişkisi, destan ve efsane metinlerinin incelenmesini içerir.

Metinler üzerinden Türk mitolojisinin diğer mitolojilerle olan ortak ve farklı noktalarını inceler.
Mit, efsane ve destan ürünlerindeki geleneksel ve kültürel unsurları analiz eder.
Efsane ve destan ürünlerinin birbirlerine benzeyen ve birbirinden ayrılan yönlerini formüle eder.
Efsane ve destan türlerinin örnek metinleri değerlendirir.
