OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	This course aims to introduce the relationship between political factors affecting political behaviour, political participation, socio-cultural reasons and political behaviour. The comparison of different models of voter behaviour and the dimension of leadership on behaviour constitutes another aim of the course.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Contents of the course include; basic concepts of political behaviour, politicization, political participation, political socialization, socio-cultural reasons of voter behaviour.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)
Tell basic concepts on political behaviour.
Explain politicization, political participation, political socialization.
Identify different types of political participation in societies.
Tell the social and cultural reasons of the choice behaviours and preferences in different societies.
Categorize the types of voter behaviour into sub-sections.
Use the concepts of political behaviour to explain political developments.
Analyze the factors affecting the voting behaviour of voters.
