OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to identify the mathematical foundations of financial structures in money markets, to apply mathematical transactions made in banking and insurance fields, to solve the mathematical problems on finance.
Contents of the Course Unit: Subjects such as financial management and finance sector, finance mathematics, time value of money, projected financial statements, financial planning, cash and similar assets management, break even and leverage analysis, interest concepts, simple interest, compound interest and their applications, simple discount, compound discount, annuities, bond evaluation, risk return calculations, derivatives markets and products, vertical, horizontal and trend analysis, stock and receivable management, working capital will be studied.
