OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	The aim of this course is to equip students with the ability to analyze the economic consequences of government intervention in the economy through monetary policy instruments.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Monetary policy objectives, tools and targets include topics such as central bank balance sheet items, interest rate theories, and rational expectations theory.

Explains the tools and objectives of monetary policy. Interprets monetary policy strategies. Analyzes the effects of monetary policy strategies on the economic system. Discussses the comments made by central banks regarding monetary policy. Interprets the functioning mechanism of the central bank. Interprets the role of economic actors in the economy.
