OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to enable the student to evaluate the economic performance of a country with basic indicators.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the subjects such as Basic Economic Indicators, National Income, Economic Growth and Employment, Development Indicators, Balance of Payments and Current Deficit, Internal and External Debt / Public and Private Sector Debt.

Explain the economic problems faced by the economy. (2)
Describe basic economic indicators. (2)
Compare international economic indicators. (4)

Evaluate Economic Indicators according to their functional characteristics. (5)
Evaluate the economic performance of a country by using macro, micro and international economic indicators. (5)
