OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Students taking this course is to give topics related to the analysis of the role of political communication in shaping and controlling public administration from different perspectives.
Contents of the Course Unit: In this Course; Political communication, theoretical approaches to political communication, Aristotle and rhetoric, media and democracy, political advertising, political propaganda, social mobilization, political communication and perception management, social movements, political communication and social media, political communication and ethics are given.

Have knowledge that political communication is important for public administration
Have the ability to analyze the role of political communication in being in power.
Have written and verbal communication knowledge and skills in political communication.

Have the ability to analyze advertisements used as political communication tools.
Have the knowledge and skills of propaganda techniques as a political communication technique.
Have the ability to analyze application examples of how political communication techniques and methods are used in state administration.
