OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The objective of the course is to explain and apply pre-treatment methods used in acute injuries during training or competitions.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include; the causes of Sports Injuries, issues of first aid and rehabilitation.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Describe the reasons of sports injuries.
Explain the types of sports injuries.
Explain precautions to be taken against sports injuries.
Explain and apply pretreatment methods used in acute injuries during training or competition.
