Objectives of the Course Unit: |
Understanding the architectural consequences of modernity and industrialization. |
Contents of the Course Unit: |
Recalling Renaissance, Baroque and Rococo architecture; Examining the structural and technological changes that started in the world with the Industrial Revolution and the related post-Industrialization through the architectural environment. Neoclassical, Art Nouveau, Bauhaus, Modernism, Post-Modernism, etc. movements will be introduced. |
