OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: 1. To give the students architectural drawing ability 2. To develop understanding of architectural drawings
Contents of the Course Unit: Technical drawing terminology, tools and equipment, orthographic projection method and architectural drawing and presentation techniques – 2D & 3D technical drawings and developing skills in architectural design through 2-3D geometrical architectural elements (descriptive geometry).

Understand and draw basic drawing techniques and geometric drawings.
Draw point, line and plane by using orthographic method.
Draw different views of objects given.
Draw different types of perspective and view of objects given.
Know and implement how to draw sections using appropriate methods.
Draw sketches and final drawings
Know dimension styles
