OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to give information about the basic concepts of criminal procedure law, the application of the rules of criminal procedure, the people who take part in the criminal procedure and the participants in the criminal procedure, the protection measures and the stages of the criminal procedure.
Contents of the Course Unit: Basic Concepts of Criminal Procedure Law, Basic Principles of Criminal Procedure Law, Application of Criminal Procedure Laws in Terms of Time, Place and Person, Investigation Phase in Criminal Procedure, Subjects of Investigation Phase, Public Prosecutor and Assistants, Protection Measures: Stopping, Arrest, Detention, Arrest, Judicial Control , Search, Seizure, Appointment of Trustees for Company Management, Supervision of Communication via Telecommunication, Compensation Due to Protective Measures, Criminal Procedure Procedures, Notification of Criminal Procedures, Sanction and Remediation of Injuries in Criminal Procedures, Prosecution Phase in Criminal Procedures, Jurisdiction of Criminal Courts , Independence of the Judge, Refusal of the Judge, Participants in the Criminal Procedure: Witness, Expert, Suspect and Defendant Concepts, Rights of the Suspect and the Defendant, Postponement of the Declaration of Judgment, Conciliation, Legal Remedies: Ordinary Remedies and Extraordinary Remedies.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

In general, the concept of criminal procedure law defines the basic principles of criminal procedure.
Evaluates how the rules of criminal procedure will be applied in terms of time, place and person.
Criminal Procedure Procedures evaluate the sanctions of the disabilities in the proceedings, notification of the proceedings, and how these disabilities will be remedied.
Defines the stages of investigation and prosecution in criminal procedure and the duties and authorities of those involved in these stages.
Knows the protective measures in the criminal procedure and the conditions of demanding compensation due to the protective measures.
Knows ordinary legal remedies and extraordinary legal remedies.
