OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The objective of this course is to provide students with theoretical knowledge of basic electrical and electronic principles, to enable them to apply this knowledge in practical applications, and to develop fundamental competencies related to the field. The aim is for students to improve their problem-solving and application skills by understanding the fundamental components of electrical and electronic systems.
Contents of the Course Unit: This course covers the following topics to provide fundamental knowledge in electricity and electronics: - Direct Current and Voltage: Basic concepts, DC circuit analysis, and applications. - Series and Parallel Circuits: Connection methods and analysis techniques of circuit elements. - Alternating Current Circuits: AC circuit principles, waveforms, and the concept of reactance. - Alternating Current Measurement: Use of measuring instruments and correct measurement techniques. - Semiconductors: Properties and applications of diodes, LEDs, and other semiconductor materials. - Transistors: Operating principles, types, and basic applications. - Soldering: Soldering techniques and safety rules used in electronic circuits. - Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Design: Printed circuit board design processes and applications. - Mounting of SMD Components: Surface mount technology and proper component mounting methods.
