OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to gain knowledge about consumption, production and formation of prices by providing an understanding of the economy in terms of both theoretical and practical.
Contents of the Course Unit: Fundamentals of economics, introduction to microeconomics and macroeconomics, consumption in individual, firm, different markets and general equilibrium levels, production decisions and price formation.

Solve the impact of welfare and activity issues in economic decision-making processes.
Explain the factors affecting the determination of consumer preferences.
Explain how the markets work
Explain firm behavior for different markets.
The macro basically categorizes it on the measurement of the economy.
Compares the macro-economic process between short-term and long-term.
