OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Mikrobiyolojinin temel konuları ve enfeksiyon hastalıklarna ilişkin bilgi ve tutumların kazandırılması amaçlanmaktadır.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Genel mikrobiyolojiye giriş, mikroorganizmalarla ilgili genel kavramlar, mikroorganizmaların yapısı, bakterilerin hücre yapısı, bakterilerde üreme ve gelişme, kültürlerin incelenmesi, immünoloji ve enfeksiyonlarla ilişkisi, serolojik reaksiyonlar, patojen bakterilere ait klinik sendromlar, enfeksiyon mekanizmasının yanı sıra diğer spirochetes, chlamydia, rickettsiae, mantarlar ve virüslerin; ayrıca parazitler, protozoa, helmintin tanımları, insan üzerindeki etkileri, laboratuvar teşhisleri, epidemiyolojisi, patogenezi ve tedavisi

Tıbbi mikrobiyoloji, parazitoloji ve viroloji sınıflandırılmasını açıklar.
Bakteri, üreme, metabolizma yapısını açıklar.
Mikroorganizmaların ve insanlar ve toplumlar üzerindeki salgın etkileri neden olduğu enfeksiyonları değerlendirir.
Sterilizasyon, dezenfeksiyon, antisepsi önemini açıklar.
Çeşitli antibiyotikler ve kemoterapötik ajanların tedavi alanında, sınıflandırma, etki mekanizmalarını açıklar.
İmmünoloji temel kavramlarını açıklar.
Bağışıklık sisteminin temel kavramlarını açıklar.
Mikroorganizmaların, yiyecek ve suyun neden olduğu enfeksiyon etkilerinin ortadan kaldırılması bozulmaya neden mikroorganizmaların yok edilmesini ilişkilendirir.
