OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of the course is to teach the meaning and importance of education for the elderly in aging societies.
Contents of the Course Unit: By learning the implementation of the education policy and system for the elderly in the world and Turkey, concepts and practices, will be discussed in terms of life-long education. Methods and contents that support the elderly who want to receive education will be sought.

Understand the importance of lifelong education.
The world learned and applied to older models of education in Turkey.
Students will be informed about the methods of determining the education models appropriate for the needs of the elderly.
