OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: With this lesson; It aims to provide knowledge and experience about applied behavior analysis, which is generally based on the behaviorist approach, and behavior change techniques used within the scope of applied behavior analysis. It is aimed to provide the student with knowledge and skills about applied behavior analysis techniques (techniques for identifying and evaluating behaviors, increasing desired behaviors, and reducing undesirable behaviors).
Contents of the Course Unit: This lesson; Concept, features and principles of applied behavior analysis; describe methods of measuring behavior or collecting data on behavior and graphing the data; behavioral goal writing; describe methods of measuring behavior; reading graphs of behavior; effective reinforcer identification techniques; preparing a list of potential reinforcements; describe methods to increase appropriate behavior; describe methods for preventing inappropriate behavior; describe other methods used to reduce inappropriate behavior; It includes behavior change plan topics.
