OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The objective of the course is to provide the students with the skills to apply different techniques specific to Cycling.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include; The history of cycling, safe bicycle driving according to the rules, bicycle types, cycling clothes, cycling gear and maintenance of bicycle, and bicycle riding techniques according to weather conditions.

Describe the basic concepts of cycling
Explain the historical development of cycling
Explain appropriate bicycle selection criteria according to the area of use
Explain the rules for safe riding in bicycle use and apply these rules
Apply the driving techniques specific for cycling.
